i'll be home for christmas

okay, so i had a conversation with a friend of mine today and he asked me what i was up to. my immediate response was, "i'm headed home"

he initially thought that i meant texas. i quickly corrected him saying that i was headed to my home in nashville (then we spend an excited moment realizing we could still hang out before we both left for our home states)

so, wait...i have two homes? yeah...i think i do

nashville has truly become my home very quickly. i love my job. i love my roomie. i love my church. i love my friends. i am starting to form a true place here and i am so thankful for that. it has unfolded into my home without me even realizing.

anywho...i will be at my texas home in a little over a week. i am seriously looking forward to spending time with my family and visiting with people i haven't seen in forever. christmas is such a special time and it has arrived so quickly. i am thankful that i will be able to cherish the time with those i cherish the most.

so, yeah...my nashville home will be missed for sure & i will be grateful to somewhat begin 2010 here.

uh...busy week...awesome week...excited about this week...next week will be here before i know it. crazy.

first post

so...i have officially lived in Franklin for 5 weeks today.

the experience has been incredible, beautiful, scary, uncertain, exciting, peaceful, so much better than what i could have ever imagined.

God has shown me the beauty of opening up my heart to where He wants me to be...and i have loved experiencing the passion stirring in my heart for each new day.

my desire for this blog is to be able to keep those that i love and cherish updated on the happenings in tennessee. i wish that i could take the time to talk to each & every one of you all the time and find out about your life and let you know about mine...so this is gonna have to do :)

i'll try and update as often as i can. i love you all.
